Exceptional field theory and a model with $PSL$(2,7) Symmetry.

We study the application of $E_{7}$-exceptional field theory to an 11-dimensional model of supergravity with fluxes obeying 7-dimensional Englert equations, which has been obtained by P. Fré in arXiv1601.02253. This solution has a symmetry described by the discrete group $PSL(2,7),$ which is a subgroup of $G_{2}$, coinciding with the subgroup of the Weyl group of $E_{7}$ leaving invariant the choice of 7 perpendicular roots of $E_{7}$ and a corresponding embedding of $SL(2)^{7}$ in $E_{7}$. In this way the role of the exceptional group $E_{7}(7)$ is highlighted.
