AMS-02 is a high-energy particle experiment conceived for the precise measurement of the cosmic radiation in the GeV-TeV energy range. Operational on the ISS since May 2011, AMS-02 has collected as of today more than 100 billion cosmic rays. Thanks to this unprecedented statistics and the excellent performances of the detectors, unique measurements of rare cosmic ray components, as anti-proton, positron and electrons, have been performed as well as precision measurements of the different nuclear species, which unveil new features in their energy spectra. We will review the main and most recent AMS-02 results and its future perspectives.
