A proposal for a backup system capable of non-real time telemetry for the LSPE CMB mission.

The LSPE is a stratospheric balloon mission aimed at analyzing the polarization of the CMB at large angular scale and at producing maps of foreground polarization. The balloon should fly for at least 20 days at about 40 km, close to the pole, during the Arctic night. The object of this work is a description of a system capable of sending data to the ground: the slow control data about the flight, a part of the parameters from the instrumentation and of non-real time telemetry of a subset of the data collected during the mission and of receiving commands for the instrumentation.
