The ATLAS Inner Tracker at the high-luminosity LHC.

The 2026 high-luminosity LHC upgrade, HL-LHC, will provide new tracking challenges, like large radiation levels and high pile-up. In order to cope with this harsh environment, the ATLAS Inner Detector will be replaced with an all-silicon Inner Tracker, ITk, for the Phase-II detector upgrade. The integrated luminosity of 3000 $fb^{-1}$ expected at HL-LHC will allow precise Standard Model measurements and beyond the Standard Model searches. Since many events are characterised by high missing transverse energy, MET, a good MET reconstruction, along with an efficient pile-up jet rejection, is fundamental. The current status and the expected Jet/MET and tracking performance of the ITk will be reviewed.
