Dual read-out calorimetry simulations.

Dual read-out calorimetry is a relatively new technique that offers several advantages in hadron properties measurements compared with detectors currently used in high-energy physics. Great effort is still required to simulate its response and to exploit its potential improvements in terms of quality of experiments at the frontier of high-energy physics. This work aims at putting in place a full simulation of a dual read-out module under construction in Como University. The goal is the understanding of main electromagnetic and hadronic components implemented in Geant4 and the comparison/validation of the results against next summer teastbeam data.
