Monte Carlo simulation chain of the Extreme Energy Events Project for EAS detection.

The main goal of the Extreme Energy Events (EEE) Project is to study the high-energy cosmic radiation. This is accomplished through a network of about 50 muon telescopes distributed throughout the Italian territory inside high schools. This contribution reports our observations (concerning more than 45 billion candidate muon reconstructed tracks) of km-scale coincidences of muons in cosmic-ray air showers compared to detailed Monte Carlo, CORSIKA and GEANT simulations. A catalogue of thousands of simulated cosmic rays was generated. Simulations consider the EEE telescope network topology, the structure of the detectors, the architecture of the buildings housing the telescopes.
