A study of the Extreme Energy Events sparse array performance during the Run2 and Run3.
Panetta M.P. per la Collaborazione EEE
The Extreme Energy Events (EEE) project is focused on the study of extensive air showers, by detecting secondary muons at ground with tracking telescopes. Each station is made of three large area Multigap Resistive Plate Chambers (MRPCs), with high efficiency, good spatial resolution and high timing performance. Since 2005 more than 50 telescopes have been built at CERN and installed in Italian high schools where they play a powerful outreach action. Performance and behavior of telescopes, some with more than 10 years of operation, are presented.
