CEDAD - CEntre for DAting and Diagnostics of the University of Salento is a multidisciplinary facility established almost 15 years ago at the University of Salento with the aim to be National Center for radiocarbon dating by Accelerator Mass Spectrometry for research and service. During years the 3 MV HVEE Tandetron accelerator has been implemented with 2 AMS beamlines for the measurements of radiocarbon and other radioactive nuclides and 4 IBA beamlines for RBS, PIXE, PIGE, microbeam in vacuum and in external mode. The development of the facility, the new developments for measuring very small samples with an integrated AMS-IRMS system and applications spanning from Archaeological, Environmental, and Materials Science applications will be shown.
